“Client” “clients” “individual” “individuals” “couple” “couples” “family” and “families” refer to the paying customer(s) receiving mental health services from Mahalia White at Bloom and Aspire Counseling
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and last-minute cancellations or missed sessions make it difficult to offer that time to another client in need. To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, I have the following policy:
This policy is designed to be fair and flexible while respecting both your time and mine. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Therapist Cancellations & Rescheduling
I value your time and am committed to providing reliable and consistent care. However, in rare instances where I must cancel or reschedule an appointment, I will:
• Provide as much advance notice as possible, ideally at least 24 hours in advance.
• Offer the soonest available alternative appointment to minimize disruption to your care.
• Waive any session fees if I need to cancel within 24 hours of your appointment.
• In the event of an emergency that requires last-minute cancellation, I will do my best to notify you promptly and work with you to reschedule at a convenient time.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES
If cancelations, late-shows, and/or no-shows become a barrier to treatment, or the client presents inappropriate behaviors, or behaviors that make the therapist feel unsafe, the therapist will address it in session(s) with the client and it may become part of the treatment plan, as appropriate. The therapist has the right to terminate services at any time if cancelations, late shows, no-shows, or inappropriate or unsafe behaviors continue to be an ongoing barrier to treatment.
